Our main goal is having fun with family, friends, and most importantly, our canine companions. Some of our
human members have started out in this sport at the very early ages! As for the canine group, some have
started learning at the age of 8 weeks and others have started their training at 8 years old! As a club, we
love to compete and win, but first and foremost, our goal is to stay family oriented and keep the FUN in flyball.

So get that ball out, practice, practice, practice and we will meet you at the tournaments!
Meet our current members and members in training below!

Favourite Pastime:
Laying in the sun and making sure our backyard is kept bird and squirrel free.

Favourite Pastime:
Chewing the fingers out of gloves

Dog’s best time:

Andy is "one of a kind" Border Collie who just turned one the first of May 2011. His Dad is Buster and that says a lot about Andy. He is much more enthusiastic about Flyball than his Father. Andy is a bit of a "Social Butterfly" which has a big bearing on his ability to run straight down the Flyball lane.

With a few more runs and corrections under his belt, we are all hoping he will live up to, or surpass, the standards set by his Uncles Win and Teddy.

BOLT

Started Flyball:
Fall 2012

Favourite Pastime:
Swimming, playing Tug or chasing after Molly

Bolt (son of Fergie) is a Mini Aussie who often gets mistaken for Fergie. He started training for flyball at 8 months of age in the Fall of 2012 and raced in his first tournament unexpectedly in Bellevile May 2013 when Molly didn't want to race. He is such a fast learner and picked up the sport within weeks. By the end of his first racing year, he has reached his FDCH title. For such a young pup, he is reliable and a consistent racer.

Molly

Owner’s name:
Kyra Glabb and Greg Allan

Started Flyball:
October, 2011

Favourite Pastime:
chasing leaves, chewing her toys, swimming and car rides

Dog’s best time:
4.5

Molly is half schnauzer and half poodle, AKA a Schnoodle and was born on June 12, 2009. She is genuinely a very happy, loyal dog and doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She loves everyone she meets, be it a person, her feline brother & sister (the cats don't return the love) or just another dog. Molly has always been eager to please, a fast learner and just plain fast. With her unique "schnoodle" run (bum and tail tuck in and almost running faster than the front end), she loves to outrun her greyhound friend, Everitt, when she has the chance over the summer. Either she is trying to show up the retired racing greyhound or she is trying to stay one step ahead since she looks like the mechanical bunny at the race track.

Dog’s best time: NA

Theo absolutely LOVES to do flyball! He earned his FMX title in November 2016. Besides Flyball, Theo enjoys the country life on our farm. Theo doesn't know he only weighs 18 lbs. and would eat any dogs that come too close to me or Justin. Besides being the meanest dog ever (!!!) he's a real snuggler and would do anything to come sleep in the bed with us under the covers.

Rosie

Favourite Pastime:
Everything!

I was asked to "do something with this dog," and she has since become a happy dog learning flyball, agility and a bit of dock diving. In quieter moments, she's a library Reading Therapy dog and my constant companion. Rosie loves dogs, cats and everyone she meets.

Nancy Yanaky and Madelaine Gault

Started Flyball:

Favourite Pastime:
Her favourite pastime would be chasing moving objects (bugs, squirrels, Frisbees, train noises)

Dog’s best time:

Loca is a rescue dog from Ontario border collie rescue. She had been pretty much been left in someone’s backyard and developed an obsession  for chasing vehicles. She seemed so crazy that we decided to name her Loca, Spanish for crazy (female)!

We are trying to channel her energy  into flyball and also take her on many walks with her mellow border collie brother Charko..

Loca is a work in progress and hopefully will be racing soon.

Owner’s name:
Deanna Sonneveld

Started Flyball:
May 2015

Favourite Pastime:
Crunching empty water bottles.

Dog’s best time:
3.916

Born the 2nd of March 2014, Sven loves flyball. Once she got past her difficult period, she showed a real talent in the sport, and now plays it like a pro. While flyball is great fun for her, her first love is disc, surprisingly.

Sven was the dog that got me started in the dog sport world, and I couldn't be prouder of her. She is a fast learner at sports and tricks alike, though flyball took a little longer to master. She surprises me with new shenanigans every day, and brings a special light o my life every morning. Svenja is my best friend first before anything else, and we're always working to better ourselves at everything we do together!
